
Lady Dino soccer was back on the home pitch on Tuesday to face No. 13 Juab. The first half started quietly but the second half was action packed as the Dinos scored three goals and sealed the 4-0 win.
Carbon started the first half slowly, putting up just a single goal, the last time these two teams met back in August in Nephi, the ending was the same with the Dinos putting up two in the first half.
Finding more offense in the second half, Carbon put it through the posts three more times and taking the 4-0 win over the Wasps.
Amiah Timothy led the way for the Dinos with a hat trick, Blythe Bradford scored the other goal. Fortune Ward had five saves and earned her fifth shutout of the season.
Carbon sits at No. 6 in the RPI as they head into the final stretch of the season, with contests against the No. 3 and No. 4 teams with a seven day period.
They will get things started on the road Thursday when they take on the No. 4 Delta Rabbits.
They will be back home on Tuesday for “Senior Night” when they will face the No. 8 Richfield Wildcats.
