
Emery senior Camdon Larsen was crowned the top runner in the boy’s division for 3A Tuesday at the Regional Sports Complex in Salt Lake. Lady Spartan Gentry Christiansen finished her division in third place overall. The Emery boy’s and girl’s teams both ended the day in fourth.
In the boys’ division Canyon View claimed the top team prize, followed by Manti. Emery landed in fourth and Morgan in fifth.
Larsen was the top 3A runner finishing with an overall time of 15:55.4, followed closly by a duo of Summit Academy runners: Stewart Woodward in second and Kaden McGovern in third. Kyle Steinfeldt of Manti and Matthew Costello of Union made up the rest of the top five.
With Camdon finishing in the top spot, Dillian Larsen landed at 13. Mason Hurdsman came in 29, Mason Stewart was in 38 and Monty Christiansen made up the rest of the Spartan top five at 52.
Ogden claimed the top spot for the girls. followed by Canyon View, and Carbon. Emery and Judge Memorial rounded out the top five.
Rozlyn Stowe from Carbon finished in first place, followed by Jaylie Jenkins of Union. Gentry Christiansen ended the day in third, followed by River White of Union and Isabelle McCullough of Summit Academy.
Following Christiansen for Emery was Addyson Guymon in seventh, and Addie Hurst in 17. Carlie Hurst and Melody Lake rounded out the Spartan top five.
