
It’s time to kick off the holiday season at the annual Helper Utah’s Christmas Craft Fair taking place on Friday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Nov. 18. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Event Representative, Vicky Miller to get all the details.
The fair is open to everyone in the community who wants to get a jump start on their holiday shopping. “On the 17th which is a Friday, we’ll be open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and then on the Saturday, which is the 18th we’ll open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm,” said Miller. The craft fair will take place inside the Helper Auditorium located on Main Street in Helper.
There are 40 booths scheduled to set up on this weekend with a wide array of goods to be sold. “We have food booths; we have people who bring baked goods. Several booths that will have home décor in it. We have a lot of wreaths, we have people who make, what should I say, things for your kitchen, interesting things for your kitchen, decorations,” stated Miller. All of the items are unique in that most items are handmade.
Not only will guests be able to enjoy shopping and eating food but they will get to see some live entertainment throughout the event. “Yea, we’ll have entertainment the entire time we’re open for business, I guess you would say. We have children’s dance groups, we have adult dance groups, we have seniors who are dancing. We have local elementary, high school, junior high school bands, and orchestras, and also their choirs,” said Miller.
