The Lady Spartans are a perfect 3-0 this young season, and they continue to impress. On Tuesday evening at the Spartan Center, the Provo Bulldogs came to town, and Emery sent them home handing them a 61-44 loss.

Emey took over from the start outscoring the Bulldogs 12-9 in the first quarter. The Spartans would put on some more pressure in the second and pushed their lead to 32-25 going into the locker room at halftime.

In the second half, the Spartans knew they had things in hand so they slowed down a little bit but not too much. Emery put up 15 in the third and 14 in the fourth, ending the night with the 61-44 win.

Aliya Lester put up 20 in the game grabbing six rebounds. Kenadie Maughn was a force in the middle scoring 19 with eight rebounds. Karleigh Stilson filled her stat sheet with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and six steals.

Emery is off now until December 1, when they travel to Vernal for the Uintah tournament.
