On a cold day in December, right after my husband’s birthday, a quiet soul came into this world a couple of months before his due date. He was so tiny. The only one of my babies that didn’t scream bloody murder; the only one of my babies that stayed in the NICU. The only one who had his own mini spa everyday because his liver wasn’t fully developed. Braedon was a fighter.
Braedon loved helping others. He was always seeing the best in people. He was a peacemaker. He found joy in making food and doing landscaping. He wanted to be a chef someday. He enjoyed playing video games and fixing phones and computers. He was a true friend to everyone he met.
Later in his life, he found drugs and recently found his sobriety through rehab. He was finally getting back on track and was excited to move back home with family and begin his new life in East Carbon. Unfortunately, drugs were calling him back and that “one more time” took him away from his family. He is reunited with his older brother Tylan, who left us a year and a half ago. They grew up being the best of friends. Until the road ends for me in this life, I will tell you to wait for us. See you later my precious boy.
He is survived by his parents, Paul Samuel Moss and Brenda Birch Moss, East Carbon; brothers, Duncan Blake Moss, East Carbon, Jacobi Afton Moss, Orem, and Mitchell Robert Moss, Lehi; sisters, Caitlyn Audrey McKayla Moss (Ricky) Brown, East Carbon, Shauntyl Marie Rader, Lehi; grandparents, Robert and Patricia Moss, Provo, and Ross L. Birch, Payson; uncles, Barry Birch, Bruce Birch, Jon Moss, and Richard Livingston; aunts, Tiffany Moss, Janae Moss, and Heather Livingston.
Braedon is preceded in death by his brother, Tylan Jesse Nell.
Services, Monday, December 4, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at The Yellow Butterfly Emporium (125 East Whitmore Dr.) in East Carbon, Utah.
