USU Eastern Athletics is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with longstanding supporter, Castle County Radio.  Castle Country Radio and their team will be the sole commentators for all home games streamed live on the Scenic West Digital Network. This partnership is a testament to the commitment of both USU Eastern and Castle Country Radio to provide top-notch sports coverage to our local community as well as the families of athletes that compete on campus.

Known for his passion and insightful analysis, local sports commentator, Jordan Buscarini, brings a wealth of experience to the table, having covered a diverse range of sports events over the years. His engaging commentary style and deep understanding of the game brings a professionalism that is unmatched. Buscarini is well known as the host of local radio show Drive Time Sports where the latest topics and debates are discussed from the local and national scene.  Jordan’s close partners, Sonny Buscarini and Travis Anderson both have a knack for delivering riveting play-by-play commentary for all local sports.

“Castle Country Radio and Jordan Buscarini have made a huge investment and impact on USU Eastern Athletics over the years,” said director of athletics, Jess Brinkerhoff.  “Their unwavering support has made them integral parts of the Eagle family. This is more than just a broadcasting deal; it’s a celebration of the shared history and the mutual dedication to showcasing the talents of USU Eastern athletes.”

From the electrifying moments on the volleyball court to the heart-stopping action on the soccer field, Castle Country Radio will be the voice that brings the games to life online.  As the men and women’s basketball seasons are well under way, fans can anticipate an enhanced game-day experience as they enter conference play with multiple home games scheduled inside the BDAC.

Not only will Castle Country Radio commentate the live stream, for over a decade they have brought Eagle basketball to the radio on KOAL 107.3 and 750 AM.

“Jordan and Castle Country Radio have had a big part in our team’s success as well as helping get information out to the public both on the radio and in articles written by their staff,” said women’s basketball head coach, Chelsey Warburton.  “Speaking on behalf of the department we are grateful for their support and thank them for their investment in USU Eastern Athletics.”
