Harmon Dee Shannon, age 55, passed away on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2023 at his home in Price, Utah.

Harmon was born on April 23, 1968 in Lander, Wyoming to Charles and Ruth Jensen Shannon. He attended Carbon High School and graduated with the class of 1986. Harmon married the love of his life, Berdine Gomez on December 31, 1992 in Price, Utah. Berdine preceded him in death on June 2, 2020.

Harmon was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed his time spent working on cars, working in the oil fields, and working with his brother, Leonard at Western Mine Tools Inc. He loved his dog, “Ludo,” playing his guitar, and of course his family and God. Harmon was a good Christian man. He was one of the kindest people around and he loved everyone deeply.

Survived by his son, Tyler Shannon, Price, Utah; step-son, Michael Ellingsworth (Vanessa), Wellington, Utah; step-daughter, Shannon Ellingsworth (Derek), Riverton, Wyoming; brothers, John McKelvie (Dusty), Wellington, Utah, Leonard Shannon (Valerie), Price, Utah, and Wayne Shannon (Bonnie), Tennessee; and seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Berdine Gomez Shannon; and parents, Charles and Ruth Jensen Shannon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Mitchell Funeral Home to care for Harmon’s final expenses.

Per Harmon’s wishes; he was cremated. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Harmon online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
