The community is invited to stop by Eastern Utah Community Credit Union (EUCCU) located at 675 East 100 North in Price on Thursday, Mar. 14 beginning at 9:00 am for their Annual “Pi Day” Pie Sale Fundraiser.

All of the pies are homemade by EUCCU employees. “So to get ready for our Pi Day Sale we go around and just ask everyone in the branch if they would be willing to donate a pie or two to help us raise money for the Angel Tree. We have some wonderful employees that bake for us every year. Mikey, one of our Tellers makes the same pies for all of our bake sales and they are so good,” said EUCCU Representative, Paige Anderson. The sale will last until all the pies have been sold and the suggested donation per pie is $15.00.

EUCCU has been a huge sponsor of the United Way of Eastern Utah Angel Tree program and like this event, they host several different fundraisers throughout the year in order to be prepared for the coming year’s Christmas season. “This last year, at least since I’ve been involved with Angel Tree, it’s been the most angels we’ve done, which was 100 angels. So 100 individual kids, we made sure that they got a Christmas for this year,” stated Anderson.

The next upcoming event for EUCCU is the annual Piggy Hunt to help celebrate Easter. “So the two main things that have my focus right now is we are already deep in the weeds of planning our Easter Piggy Hunt. For anyone that doesn’t know, it’s very similar to an Easter Egg Hunt but you’re looking for our piggys, like our piggy bank. As well as, we are going to be down at the Castle Dale Easter Egg Hunt. The Castle Dale Easter Egg Hunt will be on March 27 at 6:00 pm, over in Castle Dale,” explained Anderson. The Easter Piggy Hunt in Price will be held on Friday, Mar. 29.
