The Carbon soccer team has not lost a game yet this season, and after their trip to Richfield on Wednesday, the record remains untarnished. After a scoreless first half, both teams found the back of the net in the second to take the 4-1 win.

The Dinos sit at 4-0 this season overall and since every contest they’ve played has been in the region, they also have a perfect record there.

The first half was all defense, as neither team could find the back of the net on either side, playing to a 0-0 tie at the half.

The second half was when all the action started as both teams found their offense. Carbon was able to score four goals on the Wildcats as the Dinos’ defense was able to turn away Richfield, almost posting a shut-out but still taking the 4-1 win.

Connor Cunningham scored two goals for Carbon, and Tyler Morris added one. Luke Brady had the Dinos’ other goal along with an assist. Tayger Timothy, Logan McEvoy, and Ky Earl each collected assists in the win.

The Dinos will put their winning streak on the line on Friday when they will face undefeated Manti, on the road.
