Dima Caroline Jensen Hurt passed away at the age of 89 on April 27, 2024.

Dima was born in Lawrence, Utah on November 25, 1934. She was the daughter of Milo B. and Mildred Caroline Winder Jensen. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dima enjoyed rock hounding and almost any hobby that could be done outdoors! She loved going fishing and hunting with her son, Brad Wilson, and her two beloved brothers, Carl and Emmett Jensen. These were good times for her, and she usually carried a small rock home with her as a reminder of her time spent with them.

She created beautiful flower gardens every year. She took a lot of pride in her vegetable gardens. She loved sharing her fresh produce with family and friends. Every fall she had beautiful bottles of home canned jams, jellies, pickles, and assorted vegetables on her kitchen counter. She kept her family fed all winter with delicious foods that she had grown with her own hands.

Though Dima loved the outdoors, she had a deep passion for the fine art of crochet. She spent hours, weeks and months creating beautiful handmade lace items and doilies. Her workmanship was exquisite. Dima did her best to teach her daughters this beautiful art.

She is survived by her brothers, Carl and Emmett Jensen; half-brothers, Merland and Chris Jensen; half-sister, Hope Hooley; children, Debra Kaye Lewis (West Jordan, Utah), Carolyn Faye Wilson, Elko, Nevada, Brad Leon Wilson, Lawrence, Utah, and Ilene Yvonne (Pete) Alger Huntington, Utah; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death, by her parents, Milo and Mildred Jensen; two granddaughters, Jody Alger, Makael Crabtree; grandson, Elvis Tyler Adams; great-great-grandson Brennan Baker.
