The Emery girl’s golf squad closes the 2024 season starting Wednesday at the Meadowbrook Golf Course in  Taylorsville. The two-day event welcomes teams from the 3A ranks and will culminate with the crowning of a new state champion. With the pairings now out the Lady Spartans know who they will be going up against and when.

Emery finished in sixth place in the Region 12 tournament on April 29, in the same location, Meadowbrook. Cheyenne Bingham had the low round for the Lady Spartans with a 97.

The Spartans will tee off on hole No.1 in the first grouping, including golfers from Union, Grantsville, and Ogden. At 9:00 Audrey Yost who averaged 120, this season gets things started,  Ava Leonard who averaged 113, tees off at 9:11. Regan Jackson (111) will tee off at 9:22, Claire Lindsey (109) at 9:33, Brandee Larcival (102) at 9:44, and the Lady Spartans top golfer Cheyenne Bingham who averaged 94, will tee off at 9:55.

The Morgan Lady Trojans are the defending 3A Champions until Thursday afternoon when a new top team in 3A girls golf will be crowned.
