The Miss Carbon County Organization is planning for an upcoming Informational Meeting on Jun. 17. This is for any girls that are interested in participating in the Miss Carbon County Organization pageant coming up in August. Those interested are urged to attend this meeting at 5:00 pm at Mont Harmon Middle School.
“We are a scholarship and serviced based pageant program. The organization exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices and talent in their community. We focus on service scholarships, being role model, morals and values, goal setting and becoming your best self,” said Pageant Co-Director, MeriLynn Tubbs. Right now, the organization is looking for contestants to compete for the 2025 Carbon County Royalty.
“We have our Information Meetings coming up Jun. 17 and that’s for every age group, so from our minis clear up to our Miss Carbon County. So we do split up the meetings a little bit, so the mini, little and juniors will be Jun. 17 and that is a Monday at 5:00 pm at Mont Harmon, so ages 4 to 12. Then following that meeting at 6:30 pm, same day, Jun. 17, we’ll have our teen and Miss Carbon County combined at 6:30 pm, and that’s the ages 13 to 24,” said Executive Director, Kylie Howes. Its non-committal meeting for potential contestants to come ask questions to help them decide whether they would like to compete.
The age groups to compete are as follows:
Mini Miss 4 to 6 years of age
Little Miss 7 to 9 years of age
Junior Miss 10 to 12 years of age
Miss Teen CC 13 to 17 years of age
Miss Carbon County 17 to 24 years of age
