It’s time once again for another Helper Saturday Vibes event set to take place on Saturday, May 25 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio spoke with Vendor Manager, Ruth Lee to get all the details.
There is no theme this time around but there will be plenty of live music as there will be two bands taking the stage beginning at 5:00 pm. “We’ve got Misi & Richie starting us off and then Code Blue Revival. So Richie is also in another band who’s going to be performing in the middle of our season, but he lives northern and he drives down all the time. I work in the restaurant and I see him in there quite often, so we consider him a local,” stated Lee. The first band will take the stage at 5:00 pm and the second band will go on at 8:00 pm.
As with every Helper Saturday Vibes event there will be lots of food available for purchase. “So we have El Sarten, Angel’s, Rummel’s coming back they were here last vibes and then we also have Blazin’ Pizza, Country Confections is coming, and Rueban’s BBQ,” explained Lee. The food court is a great place to grab dinner for the evening.
Not only will there be food, but some delicious beverages both alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. The Helper Saturday Vibes organization is happy to offer Helper Beer at the bar. “Yea, they are new sponsor this year and so we decided to do a partnership and have their beer. Because everybody loves Helper Beer and you can’t be in Helper and have an event without having our local beer there. So we love that they are offering that to us,” stated Lee. The featured drink this time is going to be MangoRita.
Finally, Helper Saturday Vibes wanted to shine a light on one of the sponsors for the Kid’s Activity Corner. “Little Learners Day Care they’re sponsoring us and they bring the Imagination Station for the kid’s activities every event. It’s fully staffed for kids of all ages to come and make a piece of art work to take home, you know keep them busy,” said Lee. At the event the art activity will be paint & fold butterflies and cardboard flowers.
Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands. The next Helper Saturday Vibes will be held on June 22. Individuals wanting more information about Helper Saturday Vibes can visit their Facebook page or their website.
