Emery High School soccer coach Troy Winter was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports Wednesday afternoon. During his time on the show Coach Winter talked about his team having three All-State selections in Rhett Winter, Carson Childs and Landon Wagoner. Emery High School boy's basketball Dave Justice was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, recapping the 2024-25 season with Jordan Buscarini. The Spartans ended the season 12-14 overall, advancing to the quarterfinals of the 3A state championship tournament with an upset win over American Heritage. The season came to a close with back-to-back losses to Morgan and South Summit.
