USU Eastern, which ended the previous season ranked 11th in the nation, is looking to build on its long history of a top 15 team. Heading into her ninth season at the helm, head coach Danielle Jensen and her staff are already impressed with the team as they finished their first week on campus, “We have a really young group but I don’t know if we’ve had a stronger group this early on in the season,” Jensen stated. “We have implemented some exciting changes with our program and the team has bought in and worked extremely hard in the off-season to prepare for the goals we have set. Fans should be excited about the depth of talent that will be on display inside the BDAC this year.”
Eastern is aiming to make a strong run to the Region 18 Tournament which will be held on November 6th, with hopes of advancing to the District Championship and the NJCAA National Tournament in Clarksville, TN, on November 15th.
