Emery Cross Country got things started on Saturday at the Premier Cross Country Invite at the Cottonwood Complex in Salt Lake City. The Lady Spartans earned the top finish, with the boys taking fourth.

On the boy’s side, it was Carbon who took the top spot followed by Grantsville and Morgan. Emery and Union rounded out the top five.

Dillan Larsen was the top finisher for Emery in seventh place. Benjamin Farley (28), Jacob Erickson (29), Daxton Larsen (31), and Hayden Christiansen (33) made up the Emery top five.

The Lady Spartans claimed the top spot followed by Union in second. Carbon and Morgan made up the rest of the field.

Addy Guymon was the top finisher for Emery taking third place, Gentry Christiansen was right behind in fourth. Addie Hurst (6), Skylee Guymon (7), and Hannah Farley (18) were the top five finishers for the Lady Spartans.

Emery will be back on August 16, when they will travel to the Regional Sports Complex in Rose Park.
