The Lady Dinos soccer team has started this season on a tear, to be honest, with two straight shutouts in which they outscored their opponents 10-0. On Thursday they looked to keep that going against North Sanpete and they did, collecting their third straight shutout 7-0 over the North Sanpete Hawks.
Carbon came out in the first half finding the back of the net twice taking the lead at the half.
In the second half, Carbon came out firing again adding five more goals and taking their third straight shutout win 7-0. In the first three games this season they have scored 17 goals while allowing zero.
Malia Smith came up big for the Dinos with the hat trick scoring three goals and earning one assist. Bailey Johnson added one goal and an assist. Kenzie Morgan, Lydia Lancaster, and Maggie Hinkley each scored one goal. Madi Barlow collected six saves and logged her third straight shutout.
The Lady Dinos will be back on the field Tuesday when they will travel to Cedar City for a Region 12 tilt against Canyon View. Last season the Falcons won both meetings last year.
