On Tuesday the Delta Rabbits made the trip to Castle Dale to face the Lady Spartans on the pitch. Delta jumped out taking a lead and never let it go handing the Lady Spartans their fourth loss of the season, 6-1.

Delta finished last season 11-7 overall and 9-5 in Region 12 play. Finishing last season with the No. 5 spot in the final RPI, they would make it all the way to the quarterfinals where they lost to eventual runner-up Morgan, 7-0 to end their season.

The Lady Rabbits put the clamps on Emery defensively holding them to just one score in the game. The Lady Spartans had no answers for Delta on defense as they seemed to score at will taking the win 6-1.

Emery gets back at it on Thursday when they travel to face the Manti Templars. Last season, the Templars won both meetings with the Lady Spartans.

The Lady Spartans will back at home on August 29, when they host North Sanpete. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m..
