The Lady Dinos got their first chance to play in front of the home crowd on Wednesday night when they welcomed the Draper APA Eagles. It was a battle going five sets but the Eagles handed Carbon their second straight loss 3-2.

On Monday, Carbon traveled to Roosevelt to face Union in a non-region tilt. The Cougars sent the Lady Dinos home with a 3-1 loss.

Wednesday night in the Carbon High gym they got down to business with the Dinos taking the first set 25-12. The Eagles came out in set two taking the slim 25-22 win. The Lady Dinos took the next two: a very competitive third set 28-26 and a fourth set where Carbon took control and dominated Draper 25-12. The Eagles however regrouped and earned the set and match taking the fifth set 15-13.

Next up for Carbon is their annual trip to St. George for the Dixie Flyer Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Last season they came back with a 3-1 record. The only match where they know who they are playing is on Friday when they face Stansbury at 4:00 p.m.

Once the Lady Dinos return from St. George they will head into their region schedule as they welcome the North Sanpete Hawks to Price on Tuesday.

Game time is set for 6:30 p.m..
