USU Eastern freshman Ellyse Kessler scored three goals in the Eagles 6-1 over Northwest College Aug. 30. The hat trick was enough for Kessler to be named Eastern Utah Community Credit Union’s Athlete of the Week.

The Eagles will enter Scenic West Athletic Conference play with an unbeaten 2-0-1 record this Saturday against the Snow College Badgers.
