Carbon girls volleyball traveled to Richfield Thursday to face the Wildcats. Richfield earned two set wins before the Lady Dinos got a set win and the Wildcats took care of the rest winning 3-1.

Carbon sits at 4-6 overall and 1-1 in region play. Wednesday the first RPI of the season will be released so we can get a feel as to how the Lady Dinos stack up against the rest of 3A.

Richfield jumped out to take the first set 25-17 and then took set two 25-14. The Lady Dinos came fighting back in the third set taking the 25-18 win, but the Wildcats shut down Carbon 25-12 in the fourth to win the match 3-1.

Next week the Lady Dinos will be on the road starting on Tuesday when they will travel to Delta to face the Rabbits (7-4 overall and 2-1 in region) then on Thursday, they will travel to Cedar City to face the Canyon View Falcons (14-2, 3-0).

Carbon won’t be back home until September 17 when they will face Mant
