After many years of suffering with renal disease, Margaret Loretta Vigil Garcia, left this life peacefully, never complaining, always congenial, and often with humorous comments on Thursday, September 19, 2024. All of which she will be remembered for. Love you Margaret!

Margaret was the first of eleven siblings born to Fernando and Dulce Vigil. She was born the day after Christmas in 1946 in Dragerton (East Carbon) Utah. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Married Robert (Bobby) Garcia on April 20, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bobby preceded Margaret in death on October 30, 2019. Margaret and Bobby are the parents of three children; daughter, Kathryn (deceased) and two sons, Richard and Jesse Garcia.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Stacey) Garcia and Jesse Garcia; siblings, Eleanor Ortez, Mary Jane (David, deceased) Wallace, William and Jeanna Vigil, Robert and Annette Vigil, Rebecca and Stan Coulter, Vivian and Richard Garcia, Tom (Laurie) Vigil, Adeline (Gene, deceased) Wilson, David Vigil, and Alice and Mike Hill; and grandchildren, Felicia, Richard, Trisa, and Leia Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her one-day old daughter, Kathrine Loretta Garcia; parents, Fernando and Dulce Vigil; brother, Dan Vigil; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside service, Thursday, October 3, 2024, 11:30 a.m., East Carbon City Cemetery, in East Carbon. Friends are welcome to join the family at the cemetery.
