The Lady Dinos were on the road Tuesday to face the North Sanpete Hawks. The Hawks are one of the top teams in 3A, sitting at No. 2, and Carbon couldn’t keep up with North Sanpete losing in straight sets 3-0.

Carbon sits at 5-11 overall with the loss and at 2-6 in region play, they hold the No. 15 spot in the RPI. North Sanpete moves to 14-3, with a 7-1 region mark.

The Lady Dinos were outgunned from the beginning dropping the first set 25-10. Sets two and three both went to North Sanpete by the same score 25-13.

Madi Ferguson collected 13 digs, three assists, and one ace for the Dinos. Jacie Jensen added 10 assists, seven digs, and five kills and Brailee Peterson had five kills and three digs in the Carbon loss.

Next up for the Dinos is another road trip to Nephi to face the Juab Wasps (4-12, 0-8, No. 16) on Thursday. On August 29, the Dinos welcomed the Wasps to Price, and Carbon took the 3-1 win.
