Born May 12, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elaine and Don Carter, Randall Dean Carter, age 65, died unexpectedly on October 31, 2024 at his home in Helper, Utah.

Randy loved his daughter Randi Janelle Carter and his grandson Abel. Randy loved animals and would quite often adopt them into his home. He was a carpenter by trade for several years and was very good at building and creating many things. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was married to Francine Simmons, but later divorced.

Randy is survived by his mother, Elaine Carter; daughter, Randi Janelle Carter; grandson, Abel; brothers Jim, Lane (Michelle), Dave (Cheryl); and nephews and nieces, Ian, Nate, Emily, Kylee, Sean, Jaclyn and Alison.

There will be no services at this time. Immediate family will hold a special celebration of Randy’s life at a later time.
