The Emery Spartan girls basketball team topped the South Sevier Rams 66-56 Thursday night at the Spartan Center in Castle Dale. Following the win Emery High School senior Alexia Mortensen joined the broadcast booth to talk about the win.
Monday's Drive Time Sports featured Carbon High School girl's basketball coach Ted Bianco, who joined to talk about the team's win over the formerly No. 1 ranked school in South Sevier. Plus, Alabama and Ohio State get set to meet for the National Championship and the Philadelphia Eagles move on from Doug Pederson.
Carbon High School basketball coach Jared Butler joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports Thursday afternoon to recap the 2023-24 season for his team. Butler also talked about announcing his resignation earlier this week after five seasons as head coach.
Wednesday's Drive Time Sports featured Lunatic Triathlon organizer Scott Merrell as he joined to talk about the updates and changes to this Friday's event. Also, former Major League Baseball pitcher Bill Laskey joins to talk all things around the big leagues, including the injury to Braves pitcher Mike Soroka.
