The Carbon Lady Dinos have started the brand new season with a perfect 3-0 start to the season. Friday afternoon coach Kirt Nunley joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports to give the community an update on how the girl's have played so far and to preview the remainder of the weekend.
Tuesday's Drive Time Sports featured Kansas City Chiefs' great and Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Lanier who talked about his career and the Chiefs winning Super Bowl IV. Plus, NBA insider Jamieson Welsh joins the show to preview Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Teams of 13-year-olds from Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah will descend upon Carbon County in late July for the opportunity to represent the Pacific Southwest Region at the World Series held in New York in mid-August. One local team, the Battle 13U squad, will be coached by Darek Martinez, Rob Smith, Justin Powell, and Timmy Urbanik and represent Carbon County.
