Carbon Lady Dinos basketball coach Jordan Blanc joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports to recap his first season. The Lady Dinos finished with a 7-18 overall but appeared to peak towards the end of the season. Despite entering the 3A state tournament as the No. 14 seed, Carbon dominated Ben Lomond in the opening round and took the No. 3 seed South Summit Wildcats to double-overtime in a heart-breaking second-round loss.
Thursday's Drive Time Sports featured Carbon High School boy's soccer coach Troy Winter, who talked about the team's monumental playoff victory over the Grand Red Devils.
