This week Dave and Ryan went on the road for the premier of Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, a true story based in the foster care system in Texas. Do we need to redefine what it means to be a blockbuster? Dave and Ryan look at some of the things that may be leading to the slowdown at theaters. In the last segment, they look at 2025 releases that Hollywood may be banking on to bring the box office back around.
This week Dave and Ryan talk about the new Netflix release "Godzilla Minus One/ Minus Color" I hear the big green guy looks a little gray in this one. Certain movies that could have been in color were made in black and white, why? And at the other end of the spectrum (see what I did there?) some movies were created with bold color choices, the boys discuss.
In this week's episode, Dave and Ryan tackle spy movies. They start with a review of director Matthew Vaughn's latest spy film Argylle, starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell. Who is the best James Bond? Dave and Ryan attempt to answer that question. Then they wrap up talking about bad spy movies, or are they good?
