Then they invite local author Jason Olsen to discuss his book "Mark Gruenwald and the Star Spangled Symbolism of Captain America, 1985–1995". Dr. Olsen sticks around to talk more about Marvel in the final segment.
This week, Dave and Ryan discuss the latest installment in the John Wick franchise, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, which definitely kept them on their toes. The final two segments are spent talking with Ryan's friend, Todd Maetani, a professor of Film and Media, who discusses script writing and character development.
This week, Dave and Ryan celebrate their 100th episode by talking about the movie Braveheart, the Mel Gibson film that was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, and won five turns 30 years old in 2025. Then the guys discuss some of their favorite moments from the first 100 shows.
