Emery High School baseball manager Chase Julian joined Drive Time Sports Tuesday afternoon to recap the 2023 season, which came to an end last week in Ogden. During his time on the show, Coach Julian talked about the ups and downs of the season, the senior class and off-season plans.
Tuesday's Drive Time Sports featured Helper American Legion baseball manager Dakota Cisneros, who joined the show to recap the 2020 season. Also, NBA basketball returns with scrimmage games and Houston Astro batters continue to get plunked.
Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports Tuesday afternoon. During his time on the show Gay talked about the remarkable 2021-22 season as the Rams won their first Super Bowl since 2000. He also talked about the ups and downs of his NFL career and finding a home in Los Angeles. Gay will be a special guest at Emery High School's youth football camp, which gets underway Wednesday and runs through Thursday.
Friday's Drive Time Sports featured USU Eastern women's basketball coach Morgan Warburton, who joined to talk about the upcoming summer camps that will be offered to youth in the local area. Also, baseball writer and historian Gaylon White joins to talk about his latest book.
