David M. Jacobs, Ph.D. joins the show to talk about alien abductions and UFO's. Jacobs is an Associate Professor of History at Temple University specializing in twentieth century American history and culture. Dr. Jacobs began researching the controversy over unidentified flying objects in America in the mid 1960's, and has amassed over 35 years of primary research data and analytical hypotheses on the subject.

Todd is joined on the show by a group of elementary students, who share their vision on what it is like for bigfoot, ghosts, and other creatures during the holiday season. This holiday special has become a tradition on My Side of the Universe, marking the third consecutive Christmas for this special edition of the show.

Todd is joined on this week's show by Joshua Shapiro, who is a Crystal Skull Explorer. Shapiro has been involved with the crystal skulls since 1983 when he saw one made out of amethyst in northern California (“Ami”). He felt such a strong connection with this artifact that since that time he has devoted his life and resources to sharing the best information he can about these crystalline artifacts with other people all over the world and the future role they will play to help our planet see world peace. He has had an opportunity to privately visit with a number of the well known crystal skulls in the world including: the “Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull of Love”, “ET”, the “British Museum Crystal Skull”, “Synergy” and “Ami” among others.
