Friday's Drive Time Sports recapped some of the top segments of the week, which included a preview of the AFC/NFC championship games, plus a NBA segment with long time guest Jamieson Welsh.
The Emery Lady Spartans again put together a magical run, advancing to the 3A state championship game. Unable to overcome a powerful second-half performance by the Canyon View Falcons, Emery ended as the runner-up for the second consecutive season. Head coach Jon Faimalo joined Drive Time Sports to discuss the championship game and the highly successful 2024-25 campaign.
Wednesday's Drive Time Sports featured former MLB pitcher Bill Laskey, who talked about all things MLB including the Oakland A's relocating, Hunter Greene's return, COVID-19 in the big leagues and Albert Pujols. Plus, Carbon High School softball manager Kirt Nunley and Emery High School baseball manager Rob Smith preview the 3A State Championship Tournament for their teams.
