One day after winning his third consecutive State Championship on the wrestling mat, Emery High School senior Hayes Dalton joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports. During his time on the show Dalton talked about his incredible senior campaign as he worked back from a knee injury early in the football season to claim win the State Championship Thursday afternoon.
The Emery Spartans golf team will continue the season Thursday morning as their home meet shifts from Millsite to Green River. Wednesday on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, head coach Kasey Edgehouse joined the show to talk about how his team has performed and Thursday's meet.
Emery High School boy's basketball Dave Justice was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, recapping the 2024-25 season with Jordan Buscarini. The Spartans ended the season 12-14 overall, advancing to the quarterfinals of the 3A state championship tournament with an upset win over American Heritage. The season came to a close with back-to-back losses to Morgan and South Summit.
