On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Dr. Christy Kane will host a free community event at the Emery High School Auditorium, geared towards Mental Health. All who attend will get a free pass to the Carbon-Emery boy's basketball on Friday, Jan. 31. Canyon View Principal Jenny Gagon brought in multiple guests to talk about the event on KOAL's Drive Time Sports.
Tuesday's Drive Time Sports was geared towards all things football. Antwan Staley of Athlon Sports joined to recap the dominating season from Alabama as Nick Saban claimed his seventh National Championship. Plus, a preview of the all weekend NFL games in the Divisional Round.
Thursday's show featured Carbon High School baseball coach Jeff Cisneros, who talked about his teams loss Wednesday night to the Juab Wasps. Also, Jimmy Fallia, host of Fox Across America, joined the show to talk MLB and to introduce himself to the Castle Country as he takes over the 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. time slot on KOAL.
