Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Danny Lynn Petersen, age 63, passed away peacefully in his home on March 11, 2016.

He was born April 19, 1952 in San Francisco, California. 

Dan was an amazing man who accomplished much in his life. He was a hard worker who built up his concrete business that provided for his family and many of the families in his community. Dan had many talents and much knowledge. He loved animals, sports and especially playing softball.  He cherished his time on the fields with all his friends and sons. Most of all, Dan loved the Lord and he had a strong testimony of the gospel.  He was a good example to his children and those around him.
  
Dan is survived by his wife of 13 years, Karen; former wife Lois, and their children, Jason (Mindy), Kelly (Larry), Jeff (Achelle), Krista (Tom), Jared, Jordan (Trish), Shane (Stephanie), Farrah (Jon), Beau (Angie), and Jesse (Heidi); 23 grandchildren, and his sister, Zatell (Darryl) Wieneke.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service, Wednesday, March 16, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Wellington Stake Center (935 East Main Street) in Wellington.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to services.  Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Dan online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
