Beginning on Wednesday, June 1 citizens need to be aware that the Carbon County Landfill will begin enforcing a $20.00 fine for uncovered and/or unsecured loads whether it be truck or trailer loads. This is an effort to help eliminate the garbage and debris left along Airport Road.

A recycling fee for tires will now be charged at $2.00 per tire after the first four tires and $140.00 fee for a ton.
