SEUPA and Carbon County Energy Days committee are currently looking for sponsors and volunteers for the 4th of July Energy Days Event set to take place on Monday, July 4 at 5:00 pm at the Carbon County Events Center in Price. This spectacular free event has become the largest public event in Carbon County due to the help from sponsors and volunteers.

Energy Days allows SEUPA the opportunity to promote, educate and inform the public about the energy industry and the critical role it plays in our local businesses, family and personal lives.

There are several sponsorship packages for businesses, civic groups or individuals to make a contribution to. The Platinum Sponsorship starts at $1500.00 and goes toward helping fund the Premier Rock Band, Outdoor Lazertag and Comedy Magician.

Gold Sponsors help fund contests and prizes such as the Coal Shoveling Contest, Foam Pit, Wet Slide Obstacle Course, Bounce House, Water Balloon Volleyball, Pie Eating Contest, Hotdog Eating Contest and/or cash donation. The amounts for this package range from $800.00 to as low as $200.00.

Silver Sponsorship will cover advertising/marketing expenses such as the mobile billboard, radio advertising, newspaper advertising and banners and they start at $500.00 to $200.00.

Bronze Sponsors help fund the food and beverages such as Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Cold Stone Ice Cream, Chips, Watermelon, Water and Soda, donations start at $500 to $100.

The sponsorship packages also include 30” yard stake with the donor’s name at the event, also name and logo on event handout, recognition over speakers during the event, as well as recognition on radio and newspaper advertisements.

If you and/or your business/civic group are unable to make a financial contribution may still be a part of Energy Days by volunteering with the activities that will be happening throughout the day. Volunteers will be needed on Friday, July 1 to fill water balloons, then again on Monday, July 4 to help set up, clean up, assist in running activities and other various tasks.
