Castleview Hospital is pleased to announce the arrival Daniel Garvin, M.D. to our community. Dr. Garvin specializes in Pediatrics and will begin seeing patients upon his arrival on September 1, located at 590 East 100 North, Suite 6, Price UT

Dr. Garvin attended The University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, he has also completed his residency at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dr. Garvin specializes in Pediatrics and will provide care to infants, children and adolescents providing services such as well child care exams, newborn care, school and sports physicals, vision and hearing screenings, sick child diagnosis and treatment, immunizations, developmental screening, ADD/ADHD, depression and anxiety, premature infants, adolescents, critically ill children, children with special needs and more.

Dr. Garvin was originally born in Delta, but moved to Price at the age of two. He developed a love for working with children- whether that be through coaching or through working as an aid at Castle Heights Elementary. Upon completing high school and a two year LDS mission, Dr. Garvin attended Southern Utah University where he gained his love for medicine and the intricacies of the human body. He continued his education at the University of Utah where he received his medical degree and his desire to become a pediatrician. Upon completing medical school Dr. Garvin, his wife and still growing family of 4 children moved to Des Moines Iowa where he completed his pediatric residency at Blank Children’s Hospital.
