Carbon County Municipal general elections are days away and many voters have taken full advantage of the early voting polls which started on October 24. The final day for this opportunity will end at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 3.

“If you have a lunch break or you want to get it taken care of before you go home right after work, we’ve tried to open that up for you so you can get in and vote,” Clerk Auditor, Seth Oveson. Early voting is being held on the first floor of the County Administrative Building located at 751 East 100 North.

Registered voters who missed the early voting process can vote on the day of general elections. General election polling locations throughout the county will be open on Tuesday, November 7, from 7:00 am till 8:00 pm, sites are as follows:

Helper & Spring Glen voters                  LDS Stake Center in Helper

Price City voters                                       Carbon School District Office

Wellington & East Carbon voters          City Hall

Voting center for all voters                     Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center

This year’s general election has been an exciting campaign for voters. “We have all of the city elections, which actually impact people more than probably some of those federal elections anyway. Because they deal with the actually problems we have, every day here in Carbon County,” stated Oveson.
