After coming out strong in the first half, The Carbon Dinos defeated the Juab Wasps 4-3 in a Region 14 match up Thursday afternoon in Price.

Hoping for another region win, the Dinos scored four goals in the first half. Luis Estudillo, Parker Humes, Adam Morley and Austin Engar each found the back of the net for Carbon. In the second half the Wasps mounted a comeback with three goals but in the end Carbon held on for the victory.

“We played super well in the first half, the second half we kind of coasted and it almost cost us”, stated Parker Humes, “We came out strong and it got us a big lead.”

The game takes Carbon to 4-11-2 overall and 4-7-2 in region play. State playoff standings and match ups should be available early next week. Stay posted to castlecountryradio.com for further information as it is released.
