Dennis James Rogers passed away in his loving wife’s arms at the age of 61, on November 16, 2019 at his home in Huntington. Born February 22, 1958 to Eugene Rogers and Amelia Thompson Grow in American Fork, UT.

Married Marcie Ann Maddera in Huntington, UT August 4, 1984. From this 35-year union, two beautiful children were born. Dennis was a loving husband and my best friend, a proud father, a little brother, uncle, and grandfather. He was the hardest working man. He loved his wife, children and family beyond measure. Dennis loved to cook, BBQ was his signature. Fishing was his passion. He loved boating, camping and making our yard the prettiest on the block. He had the greenest thumb and side by side we canned the goodness from our garden. My husband, my world, could turn an old piece of wood into a master piece.

Survived by his wife, Marcie Rogers, his amazing beautiful kids, LynDee Arleen (Matthew) Carter, Housten James Rogers and Mindy Rogers Laing; Brothers, Mick (Laurie) Rogers, Bill Rogers and Gene Rogers; Brother-in-law, Frank (Julie) Maddera, many loving nieces and nephews.

Our Daddy is now fishing side-by-side in Heaven with Pocka, Nana, Joey and his Mom and Dad reminiscing over the good times and watching over his family.

Our hearts are broken. Our lives will be forever changed and empty without him.

We would like to thank the angels that came at our time of need. The EMT’s and all those that have shown love and support.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
