The Desert Wave Pool is full of fun activities for the community to enjoy from everyday swimming, birthday parties, swim lessons, classes and teen nights – there is sure to be something for everyone.

“This month in November while schools out we will be open all day. So if you have family coming in or you just want something warm and fun to do, you can come to the wave pool. We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but the 27th, 29th and 30th we’ll be open all day from noon till 8:00 pm,” said Facilities Manager, Tamara Grey. Admission prices are adults 12 and older $4.00, children 4 to 11 years old is $3.00, Senior 62 and over $2.75 and a family of five is $13.25.

“Also, we have our Swim with Santa that will be on Saturday, December 14, we’ll be open all day. Santa Clause will be there from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm so you can bring your camera take a picture with Santa Clause, get a treat – we’ll be giving out treats and then at 6:00 pm will be showing a Christmas movie on the bubble,” said Grey. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a full day of swimming.

Operational hours will accommodate the local school’s Christmas Break schedule. “Then in December we will be open during the Christmas break as well, the only day we will be closed is Christmas Day. We will be open Christmas Eve just till 4:00 pm – so we won’t be open all day but just a few hours if you want to come swim for a little while. Then we will be open 19th, 23rd, 26th, 30th and 31st we’ll be open all day as well,” said Grey. The wave pool will also be open January 1 through the 4 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
