He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had recently celebrated 37 years of sobriety. He was the oldest living member of AA in Carbon County and had influenced countless lives due to his membership. One Day At A Time. He enjoyed fishing and doing intricate bead work until he lost his eyesight. He enjoyed the fact that he was a “New Year’s Baby” and would often tell Ajay that he was a New Year’s baby before it was cool. As a little boy, Ajay was convinced that Grandpa was the first New Year’s baby.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Shane Gagon for his years of care of our Dad as well as the staff at Apria Healthcare, Castleview Hospital’s ER and Med-Surg Departments and the staff at Parkdale Care Center (Dolly and David) and Symbii (Rick and Deborah) for their compassion and care.
