The Carbon County 4-H Program is hosting Grab & Go Projects for children in the area throughout the summer months.
The 4-H Coordinator, DeLayna Barr took some time to speak with Castle Country Radio over the telephone about the new activity.

“First, they’ll need to sign-up as a 4-H member on https://ut.4honline.com and you become a member of 4-H and it’s $10.00,” said Barr. “And then they have to be approved and then they can go back in and sign-up as an event. We can help you with that online thing if you call our office at 636-3233 and we’ll be glad to help you.” There is a YouTube video available on the login site that will walk children/parents through the process of registration and the $10.00 registration fee will cover the entire summer.

The 4-H Grab & Go Projects will begin on May 18 with the Zoom Meeting scheduled for May 20 and the cost is $2.00 which covers supplies. The following is the schedule of the first series of Grab & Go Projects:

There will be a second series of Grab & Go Projects made available in July. “We have more coming. It’s just going to be all summer long, we’re going to have something new. This is just our first series, kind of out the door, getting it going but its going to be so exciting with what’s coming up, a lot of STEM projects,” said Barr. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics which is a curriculum that creates critical thinkers.
