
David Wayne Erickson passed away July 30, 2020 at his home, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by loving family. He was born in Price, Utah to Arthur & Rene’ Anderson Erickson.
He was a long-time operation/engineer. His career legacy included historical projects such as the Red-line Subway in Hollywood, California. He also worked for several years in the coal mine. David served honorably in the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades, welding, crane operator, heavy equipment operator. His hobbies included artesia woodcrafting and fishing.
Survived by his wife of 25 years Katherine Erickson; parents Arthur & Rene’ Erickson; children Amber Erickson, Asa (Veronica) York, Amanda (Efren) Gonzalez, James York and Nickloas York, all of California; grandchildren Desirea Calles, Austin Roberts, Lillian York, Helen Gonzalez, Jenna York, Chelsea Gonzalez, Colton Smith, Aiden York, Desmond York, Madelyn York, Emi Gonzalez and Penelope York; siblings Linda (Mike) Osiberg, Peggy (Rick) Isaac and Teresa (Mark) Keiffer; sister-in-law Madeline Erickson; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother Boyd Erickson.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Emery LDS Ward from 1:30 – 2:15 pm. Funeral services at 2:30 pm. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
