The Lady Dinos keep putting together wins, they lost their only game last Monday to the Grantsville Cowboys and currently sit at 7-1 as they head to the Christmas Break. In their match-up against Mountain Crest, a second quarter explosion led to an offensive run in the second half putting the game away for the Dinos 53-31.

Carbon has logged an impressive list of wins this young season. Mountain Crest a team from the 4A ranks out of Hyrum brought with them their 5-3 record. The Dinos jumped to a 22-16 lead at halftime, by the end of the third, Carbon had pushed the lead to 38-24 and brought the victory home with the 22 point win.

Freshman Madi Orth scored 15 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Junior Sydney Orth went for 13 points with 13 rebounds and Makenna Blanc went for 11 points and six rebounds.

For Mountain Crest, Juniors Hayvn Brown and Lexie Coggins both scored eight points and Sadie Coggins added six.

The Lady Dinos will be on the road for their next three contests against Union, Duchesne and South Sevier. They will take the floor in Price again on January 14th when they welcome Emery.
