Our loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Louann Jensen Birch, passed away peacefully at her home on January 28, 2021. She was born to Dean and Isabell (White) Jensen in Elmo, Utah on December 16, 1944.

Louann married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Birch, on August 13, 1965. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Utah Temple. On November 23, 1981 Louann’s life was forever changed when Bob was tragically taken in a trucking accident. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children and through her example, she taught her children the importance of a strong work ethic.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Rhonda) Birch, Price, UT, Joey (Michele) Birch, Price, UT, Peggy (Jimmy) Cook, Wellington, UT, Terry (Montie) Birch, Arizona, Lynette Birch, Price, UT, Chris Melo, Altamont, UT; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Ned Jensen, Sunset, UT, Tom (Becky) Jensen, Phoenix, AZ, Vernita (Jay) Brown, Salt Lake City, UT; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Isabell Jensen; husband, Robert “Bob” Birch; two daughters, Sherry Birch and Lana Jean Passarella; sister-in-law, Karen Jensen; nephews, Randy Jensen and Jayson Brown.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Price North Stake Center, 449 North 100 East Price, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends and family at Mitchell Funeral home Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and at the Price North Stake Center Monday morning one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online and watch the livestream at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
