The Emery Spartan Baseball team is getting ready to head back to the diamond on Wednesday March 10 at home against Providence Hall. Last year their season came to an abrupt end after the Utah High School Activities Association suspended all of their sanctioned events as of March 16.

The Spartans got in more playing time than most teams in the area because they opened the season in Mesquite at a tournament going 2-5 in seven games.

Below is a recap of the games played:

March 5  Sports Leadership and Management – Loss 11-1

The Emery Spartan baseball team took to the field for the first time this season in Mesquite as part of the five team Cactus Classic Tournament hosted by Virgin Valley High School.
