Jed Cameron Kofford, age 22, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 from injuries sustained after a UTV accident.

Jed was born June 10, 1998 in Price, Utah and was raised in Huntington. He graduated from Emery High School, attended Snow College and USU Eastern where he earned a degree in machining and welding. He used his machining skills to gain employment with Mac’s Mining and just recently became employed with PacifiCorp, working at the Hunter Plant as part of the mill crew.

Jed loved being outside and going on adventures. He was a real cowboy, roping, and riding horses every chance he got. He was always there to put a smile on your face, especially with his singing and sweet dance moves. He enjoyed trapping, hunting arrowheads, and finding shed horns (or trying to) in what he termed the ‘bone zone.’ Jed had a big heart and loved others with all he had. He had a nickname for everyone. His two nieces, Graycee ‘G-Dawg,’ Mylee ‘My-Jo’ and nephew, Ruger ‘Shmee’ had him wrapped around their fingers.

Jed found the love of his life, Vanessa Schade, about six months ago. They were inseparable from the start of their relationship. He was so happy and proud to have her as his girl. Arrowhead Jed, you will be missed more than words can say. If heaven needs a cowboy, they’re getting a top hand.

Jed is survived by his parents, Will Kofford and Julie (Mark) Justice, Huntington, Utah; sister, Kyann, Castle Dale, Utah; brother, Kelly Clyde (KC) of Tremonton, Utah; grandparents, Kenn and Lana Kofford, Castle Dale, Utah, Ilene Campbell of Hagerman, ID, and Dennis (Laura) Thompson of Buhl, ID; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah), where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jed online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
