The Utah High School Activities Association released the final RPI rankings for 3A softball Wednesday morning and along with it the bracket for the State Championships which begin on Saturday.

Manti claimed the No.1 spot with an RPI of 0.808 with a season record of 24-2 . South Summit landed at No.2 with a record of 21-2. Grantsville, Carbon and Grand rounded out the top five.

The first round will be played at four different locations, the home sites of the top four teams. The 3A classification consists of 18 teams, 16 of which qualified for the State Tournament. American Leadership Academy and Region 12 member South Sevier were on left on the outside looking in.

The 3A State Championship Tournament is played in a double-elimination format and will start Saturday morning at the top four home sites. One team at each of the pod sites will be eliminated after the first round, leaving just 12 teams remaining.

Manti High School:

#1 Manti VS #16 Summit Academy- 11:00 a.m.

#8 Morgan VS #9 Juab- 1:15 p.m.

Carbon High School:

#4 Carbon VS #13 Richfield- 11:00 a.m.

#5 Grand VS #12 Delta- 1:15 p.m.

Grantsville High School:

#3 Grantsville VS #14 San Juan- 11:00 a.m.

#6 Emery VS #11 Providence Hall- 1:15 p.m.

South Summit High School:

#2 South Summit VS #15Judge Memorial- 11:00 a.m.

#7 North Sanpete VS #10 Union- 1:15 p.m.

The last 12 teams standing will travel to Spanish Fork on Thursday May 13 to continue the playoffs with a the State Championships wrapping up on Saturday.
